Kids at Heart Event to Support Children's Services

On Saturday, November 10, 2001, Sutter Medical Center of Santa Rosa will present Kids at Heart, a fundraising event to support children's services at the hospital. The primary benefactor will be the WCC (World Croquet Championship) Family House.
A similar concept to the popular Ronald McDonald house, the WCC House will provide lodging to out-of-town families of hospitalized children at Sutter Medical Center and other area hospitals. This house is a partnership between the WCC Foundation and the hospital.
The second funding priority is for vital medical equipment for the pediatric and neonatal intensive care units at Sutter Medical Center.
The event, planned to be an annual affair, will run from 6:30 to midnight, at the Finley Center in Santa Rosa, and will feature dinner, dancing, and both a live and silent auction. Nationally syndicated newspaper columnist, Lindsey Stokes, will serve as emcee and honorary chair of the evening.
